Police in Ajman have arrested two people and seized fake HP print cartridges and accessories reportedly worth AED 280 million ($76m).

The seizure, one of the largest ever reported, was initiated after HP discovered counterfeit products circulating in the market.

Police were able to trace the counterfeit goods to two warehouses and a villa in the emirate of Ajman in the UAE, and a third warehouse in Dubai.

The properties were raided by police, who seized a large number of counterfeit goods along with tools for manufacturing the fakes, packaging and security labels.
