HelpAG partners with Proofpoint for SaaS solution

Company will provide Proofpoint’s cloud-based email security solutions to enterprises in the Middle East

HelpAG partners with Proofpoint for SaaS solution Stephan Berner, managing director at Help AG says that the partnership with Proofpoint will help customers reap the benefit of cloud.

Help AG has entered into a partnership agreement with security-as-a-service provider Proofpoint to provide the vendor's cloud-based email security solutions to enterprises in the Middle East.

These solutions are designed to offer zero-hour protection against a wide range of email based threats such as phishing, spam, viruses, directory harvest attacks and targeted email attacks.

Help AG will provide its customers with value-added services which include systems design and architecture, based on enterprise business requirements, proof of concepts with well-defined success criteria, implementation services, 24x7 local support services and quarterly health checks for the new solutions portfolio.

Help AG intends to eliminate email-based security vulnerabilities in customer environments through the deployment of Proofpoint Enterprise Protection which is designed to provide the most comprehensive email security threat classification and email security management. The solution offers zero-hour protection against hard to detect phishing and spam email. Proofpoint has also tied up with leading anti-virus software vendors to include enterprise class virus protection in the platform.

The email security solution utilises Proofpoint's sender reputation management service to block connections from malicious IP addresses. This acts as the first line of defense against spam emails, directory harvest attacks, denial-of-service and other email-borne attacks, and results in substantial bandwidth savings.

Help AG has signed up as a Proofpoint Advantage Partner and is pursuing full technical and sales trainings and certifications.
