Gold level Oracle Partner Network member Paradox Engineering SA, is working with Oracle to approach the growing smart city market with smart city solutions such as wireless sensor network solutions, smart metering and connectivity, a multipurpose control system, and a scalable platform designed to enable intelligent, innovative and integrated services to citizens.

The combination of Paradox Engineering's PE.AMI and Oracle's Smart City Platform integrated solutions is designed to provide an answer for open and comprehensive Smart City initiatives immediately addressing energy saving concerns and improving liveability, sustainability and the city's economy.

"We are very glad that Oracle recognises our technology and mission  to help provide unique and innovative solutions to help fit customers' requirements," said Gianni Minetti, President and CEO of Paradox Engineering. "The use of PE.AMI within the Oracle Smart City Platform allows cities to turn their urban services into a smart network. While fully adhering to open standards and leveraging the ‘Internet of Things', this offers the opportunity to develop a future proof, scalable and multipurpose architecture. PE.AMI represents the ideal pillar for any Smart City initiatives."

Paradox Engineering's PE.AMI is a multipurpose and bidirectional broadband/narrowband wireless sensor network platform enabling the ‘Internet of Things' concept, and is designed to provide native interoperability through open standards. It collects, transports and delivers information from any smart and non-smart urban appliances, including streetlights, gas, water and electricity meters, EV chargers, traffic cabinets and cameras, and many more, allowing the implementation of various urban services on the same network. PE.AMI also collects data into Oracle databases for upstream processing by Oracle's rich set of business intelligence and business operation solutions.

With Paradox Engineering's solutions, the Oracle Smart City Platform can provide a unified system to help cities to become smart by implementing advanced urban services, such as intelligent street lighting, advanced metre reading, public parking and public transport management, managed through integrated city operations.
