Avaya launches new AvayaConnect initiative
UC solutions vendor aids partners to address ‘the new big’ enterprises
Avaya, a global provider of UC solutions and services, has launched its region-specific programme for AvayaConnect partners aimed at helping them address the needs of the underserved mid-size enterprise sector across the Middle East, Africa and Turkey.
The programme has been designed to aggressively address and understand the needs and challenges of the mid-market or companies earmarked to become ‘The New Big' enterprises of tomorrow and to meet the changing customer demands for collaboration and mobility while keeping costs low.
According to Avaya the new scheme is a full-fledged sales incentive driven initiative that motivates the partners' sales teams to win more deals as well as reward the partner organisation with aggressive rebates when increasing revenue in the mid-market segment.
In addition, Avaya says the programme also provides a seven day course for channel partners at the company's new regional training centre in Dubai's Silicon Oasis, where partners learn new sales methods and receive certification in voice, data, video and networking.
"Evolving with the regional market and supplying our channel with the tools and solutions needed to address the ever growing SME segment is key for us at Avaya," said Nidal Abou-Ltaif, vice president, Middle East, Africa, and Turkey at Avaya. "Avaya's aggressive new programme enables our channel partners to address the challenges faced by the region's mid-size enterprises, sometimes referred to as the ‘ants of the economy'."
Abou-Ltaif said Avaya has the solutions to properly equip its channel partners in resolving the challenges faced by mid-sized organisations and the new programme will assist them to increase gross margin and profitability, without requiring complex engineers to install the solutions, which they provide to the mid-market.
