The second annual Dubai VMware Forum will be arriving in Dubai on May 7th under the theme ‘Virtually Unlimited'. The forum is designed to enable IT professionals to advance their journey to the cloud with the Software-Defined Data Centre.

VMware and its partners will hold sessions on how organisations are driving cloud innovation and delivering cloud infrastructures that reduces IT complexity, improves security and accelerates how applications are built, deployed and run across the organisation.

According to VMware more than 16,000 attendees are expected to attend across 27 events in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).

The event will kick-off with a keynote from vice president, marketing, EMEA, Elie Kanaan, on how businesses can work towards the Software-Defined Data Centre for greater business agility

"A perfect storm is forming in our industry which will affect every single customer regardless of their sector or size. The move towards the Software-Defined Data Centre, the technology leaps in End-User Computing and customer-centric cloud computing will all have profound effects on how businesses operate and compete," said Sam Tayan, regional director at VMware in Middle East North Africa "VMware Forum 2013 is a great way for customers to engage with VMware, its partners and peers to understand what can be achieved through the smart use of virtualisation and cloud technologies. Our aim is to provide attendees with real-world examples of how organisations have put our technology to use and delivered tangible business benefits."

VMware Forum 2013 is a one day event aimed at IT professionals who want to simplify and transform their IT and for anyone who wants to see improvements and innovation in their IT infrastructure, datacentre, desktop computing, business continuity and cloud computing strategy.

The one day event aims to deliver sessions on the future of the cloud across three agenda tracks; cloud computing, virtualisation and mobility. Whether at the start of the journey or already with an advanced deployment, the comprehensive agenda will offer new insight, ideas and an action plan for a successful virtualisation and cloud computing deployment.

Running in parallel to the VMware Forum, Partner Exchange on Tour - Take Charge, will visit 18 locations over the next two months.
