Du hails success of Annual Cloud World Forum MENA During the event du led discussions surrounding cloud security and telco participation in infrastructure.

The UAE's number-two telecoms operator du today hailed the success of the third Annual Cloud World Forum MENA in which it participated as the Host Operator Partner.

The event was held recently, at the JW Marriot Marquis, Dubai, where specialists from du took part in a panel discussion, "Where do the opportunities lie for telcos in the cloud?", and presented "Cloudnomics - a telco's perspective" and "Secure cloud, oxymoron or not?"

"Cloud is an increasingly relevant topic in today's managed services world, and one that we are proud to be promoting in the region through our partnership with the third Annual Cloud World Forum MENA," said Farid Faraidooni, chief commercial officer, du.
