Comguard unveils ‘world’s most rugged firewall’
Clavister X8 optimised for ‘harsh and rugged conditions’ of region, says Dubai-based VAD
Spectrum group security VAD Comguard today announced the launch of what it is calling "the world's most rugged and powerful firewall", the Clavister X8, which is designed to withstand harsh conditions and offer unified security management between office and industry environments.
"Clavister X8 is targeted for installations where standard security products cannot function reliably," Comguard said.
"With its industrial, rugged design, the durable Clavister X8 is perfect for tough environments, such as remote industrial locations, offshore installations and other demanding environments like deserts where high-end security is required."
The key features of Clavister X8 include IPsec/SSL VPN tunnels, application control, advanced routing, and firewall performance up to 1Gbps. It also supports Clavister Security Subscription, which includes Clavister product and support services. The firewall comes with industry standard connectivity, such as DIN rail mounts, designed to make it easy to fit in industrial environments.
