On the eve of the first GITEX Shopper Spring Edition, HP has unveiled new notebooks, convertibles, desktops and printers that are sure to whet consumer interest ahead of the consumer electronics show, taking place from 3rd to 6th April 2013 in Dubai.

The PC mainstay, which also announced the Total Care Center (TCC) on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, outlined that the facility doubles up as a training centre where customers can access both free and paid services for upgrades, repairs and one-to-one advice from product experts.

"Consumers at the GITEX Shopper Spring Edition will have a fantastic line-up of HP products on offer through our retailers", said Salim Ziade, general manager, Personal and Printing Systems (PPS), HP Middle East. "Our new TouchSmart technology makes using our products easy and intuitive to use and with full ten finger sensing, ensures a thrilling experience. We have tied up with our retailers to offer great discounts, offers and very exciting deals during GITEX Shopper."

HP has also designed the HP Smart friend portfolio putting all the services and support that customers need in one spot. The company said customers could keep their product running at its best with Performance Plus Service, get their HP product back to its original state with the OS Reload Service, and transfer their data to a new HP product or external backup device with Data Migration Service.

HP in conjunction with its retail will be offering several product bundles and promotions throughout the consumer electronics show.
