Spectrum Training, an IT networking and security solutions training provider, has expanded its reach in the North Africa market after it opened an office in Tunisia.

This is the second training centre that the company has opened in that region following a similar undertaking when it opened a centre in Egypt last year.

The launch of Spectrum's office in Tunis coincides with the appointment of Spectrum Training as the authorised training partner for North Africa by Juniper Networks.

According to Spectrum, the new Tunis office is headed by Khemais El Ouni, an experienced IT industry veteran, who will be responsible for developing the business in that country.

"We are extremely pleased to be appointed as the authorised training partners for Juniper Networks for North Africa and we are sure that with a base in Tunisia, we will be able to service the French-speaking countries in a better way," said, Sanjeev Singh, managing director, Spectrum Training.

Sanjeev said: "We already have large customer base in North Africa, now with training centres in Egypt and Tunisia, Spectrum will bring down the cost of training without customers having to pay extra on traveling outside the North Africa region."

As a JNAEP partner, Spectrum Training's trained technicians are authorised to provide in-depth, technical training and education courses on a variety of Juniper products including SRX Firewall, SA, IC, SSG/ISG, IDP, MAG, WIFI , Juniper EX Switches, J, M, T, MX and E series routers.
