Adobe unveils new reseller programme Adobe to incentivise partners better following programme launch.

Graphics software vendor Adobe Systems Incorporated has launched a new partner programme, the company says will more incentives and rewards.

Dubbed Adobe Partner Connection Reseller Program, the new initiative will go live on 1st March 2013 across the UAE and aims to provide the company's ecosystem of resellers with a simple, consistent channel engagement model that rewards them when they increase their knowledge of Adobe technologies.

"The partners that are of the greatest interest to us are those who serve their customers as trusted advisors in their respective markets," said Jacob Alex, channel account manager for MENA at Adobe. "With our new channel programme, we have the optimal structure to work better and more closely with our partners," Alex added.

According to Adobe, the programme is free and open to all resellers across the Middle East.

Adobe said it has structured the programme to offer four tiers that include: Registered, Certified, Gold and Platinum status.

In addition, the company said deal registration is one of the main highlights of the programe as it enables Adobe to compensate partners for their pre-sales work. The vendor said partners that register deals get rebates for their effort although this is only available to Certified, Gold and Platinum resellers on the programme.

"The Adobe Partner Connection Reseller Program is built around four principles: encouraging active selling, engaging at distributor level, managing the channel in new ways and elevating the conversations about Adobe technologies with the end-user," said Arseny Tarasov, regional manager, CIS, Turkey and Middle East for Adobe Systems.

Tarasov added that in the past, Adobe offered individual bonuses or incentives, but the company is now presenting its resellers with the opportunity to participate in a highly integrated and comprehensive scheme that will reward them proportionally for their level of commitment in selling Adobe products. "Tools like the deal registration make actively selling Adobe products even more attractive and allow resellers to significantly increase their sales and profitability with support from Adobe," Tarasov said.

All Adobe authorised distributors will be able to offer the Adobe Cumulative Licensing Program (CLP), to all resellers at the Certified and above level, thus strengthening their relationships with key and specialised partners.

In addition, Adobe said it wants distributors to be actively involved in its activities to create, enable and expand the reseller ecosystem.
