Lenovo appoints new GM for the Gulf Mohammed Hilili has over a decade of experience in the Middle East.

Lenovo has appointed Mohammed Hilili as its new general manager for the Gulf region.

Hilili will be responsible for growing Lenovo's operations across the region, including enterprise and consumer business and channel development. He will also focus on talent development and capacity building.

He joins the number two PC vendor from rival Acer, where he was most recently country manager for Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Oliver Ebel, executive director and general manager, Lenovo Middle East and Africa, commented: "Our continued growth in the region is a result of our clear strategy, strong team and dedication to becoming the leading PC maker in the region.
