Jordan-based value added services (VAS) specialist, Info2Cell, plans to expand into new markets in North Africa and Asia.

The company, which also has an office in Dubai, announced its expansion plans after sales surged by 29% in 2012.

The company, which offers VAS to telecom operators in the Middle East, posted revenues of $18 million in 2012, an increase of 29% compared to 2011.

The company attributed to surge in sales to the launch of new services and strong partnerships across key Middle East markets.

The company said that it registered a surge in sales in the GCC area after it partnered with two major third-party vendors, which helped diversify the company's core offerings.

Info2cell.com has also launched new services and products in Dubai, Jordan, Iraq and Bahrain, addressing emerging demands in these key markets, while simultaneously opening new markets in KSA and Iraq.

Bashar Dahabra, founder and CEO, Info2cell.com, said: "Info2cell.com will continue to establish strategic alliances, introduce more innovative applications and value-driven services and expand in new markets across the Middle East, Africa and Asia as we move forward with our long-term growth plans."

Over the last few years, Info2cell.com has maintained its position as a key provider of mobile applications and content for the Middle East and North African markets. To date, the company manages more than half a million subscribers and accommodates up to 100 mobile requests per second.
