Xerox has named Ashraf Elarman as the new country general manager for Egypt. The company said Elarman has played a key role in its growth within Egypt during his 21-year service to Xerox, where he has held various roles in sales, marketing and the Lean Six Sigma (LSS) department.

Marcus Childs, vice president and general manager MEA at Xerox, said Elarman is the ideal choice to lead the company's operations in the domestic market during the current period. Childs explained that the choice was based on Elarman's rich knowledge of the local market needs, experience and accomplishments with Xerox over two decades.

"I am excited to continue my journey here at Xerox and I am more prepared than ever to meet our clients' needs in this challenging economic time," said Elarman. "Egyptian and international firms are looking to save money and find ways of streamlining processes and integrating technology into their everyday operations. At Xerox, we provide those solutions and have already formed partnerships with some of the biggest and competitive companies in the country. I want to build on this tradition."
