Jordanian software developer 01Tracks has qualified for the ITIL 2011 Certification.

The certification, which sets out procedures and best practice for IT service management, will help 01Tracks to "earn the lifelong trust of its customers in local products, and to increase its competitive edge locally and regionally" according to a statement from the company.

01Tracks has developed a number of different applications, including the MenaTracks service desk solution, MenaCRM and tailor-made solutions.

"We are very proud to be the only software development company that has acquired an ITIL 2011 certificate in the region, which has positioned us amongst international companies, due to the certificate's significance for software development companies," said Mohammed Mfarrej, CEO of 01Tracks.

The company's customer base includes the Greater Amman Municipality, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Water and Irrigation, Cairo Amman Bank, the International Financial Advisors (IFA) in Kuwait, Arab Insurance Company, and McDonald's in Saudi Arabia.
