Redington signed as Neverfail VAD Mackay says Neverfail settled for Redington because of the distributor's expertise, experience and footprint in the region.

Regional value-added distributor (VAD) Redington Gulf, has signed a distribution agreement with Neverfail, a global provider of business continuity (BC) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.

Under the accord, Redington will supply the regional channel with the entire array of Neverfail’s BC and DR tools. In addition, Neverfail said Redington will  help it to develop the channel business in the Middle East.

Martin Mackay, CEO at Neverfail, said the company is delighted to have partnered with Redington as its sole distributor in the Middle East as the company has an established track record in the VAD space in the region. “With the market expertise and experience that Redington has, we believe that it is the right fit for us that will open the rest of the regional market,” he said.

Mackay said the decision to go with Redington was also based on the distributor’s credentials in value-add distribution, geographical footprint, consultancy and ability to provide training to partners. “We were looking for a distributor that would help us as we transition from being 80% direct and 20% channel, to having a stronger indirect route to market,” he said.

Mackay explained that Neverfail is looking at working with a select number of focused partners and Redington’s appointment meets the company’s expectations to engaged with niche channel players across the region. He added the deal paves the way for the company to launch its Neverfail Partner Program in the Middle East. “The programme has for tiers namely Reseller Network, Hosted Cloud, Strategic Technology and OEM Program partners. We will be rolling out the initiative to partners in the region,” he said.
