Emax reports 40% increase in sales in 2012
Consumer electronics retailer is forecasting 40% sales growth in 2013
Power retailer Emax, part of Landmark Group, has reported strong performance across the region with annual sales growth of 40% in 2012.
Emax said its impressive success has been driven by strategic regional investments, a dynamic portfolio of products and a strong customer service ethic, positioning the company as one of the largest retail players in the Middle East. Emax added that it is forecasting a 40% increase in sales for 2013.
Emax, which celebrated its sixth anniversary earlier this month, plans to expand and operate 50 retail stores in the region by end of 2013.
Neelesh Bhatnagar, CEO at Emax said: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the customers of Emax for their contribution to our success over the years. A big round of appreciation is also due to our dedicated Emax team, which works relentlessly each day to make this a truly outstanding regional brand. The consumer electronics market in the Middle East is buoyant and Emax is well placed to capitalise on this. We aim to continue to expand our presence in the region, with plans to operate 50 stores by the end of 2013."
Bhatnagar added that a key ingredient of our success is trying to understand the needs of our consumers and simplifying the electronics shopping experience for them. "We provide our consumers with excellent after-sales service that consists of trained and knowledgeable staff that offer advice on the best use of different electronics products in order to ensure their longevity," he said.
As part of the company's sixth anniversary celebrations, Emax is offering shoppers a chance to win an HTC 8X Windows phone on the purchase of items worth AED499 across all its stores in the UAE.
