Smart Glass, an architectural glass processing company, has chosen Epicor ERP to manage operations at its headquarters and manufacturing plant.

The Egyptian company, which produces high-quality engineered glass products at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, will deploy Epicor ERP to manage the complete manufacturing cycle, and provide analytical tools and insight to decision makers.

"We selected Epicor ERP because of its ease of use, its ability to handle the complete production cycle, the low total cost of ownership when compared to its competitors, and its advanced features and technology," said Tharwat Abou Arab, chief executive officer for Smart Glass. "Epicor ERP is also the best fit for our sophisticated manufacturing requirements and our strategic business objectives."

Global Business Solutions (GBS), an Epicor value added reseller (VAR) in Egypt, will be carrying out the implementation.

"Smart Glass requires full control over business processes and a strong set of reporting capabilities that include analytical tools for top management," said Anish Kanaran, regional director for Epicor in the Middle East. "Epicor ERP is a fully integrated solution that caters to these specific requirements giving Smart Glass firm control over its business processes and ultimately enhancing its operational efficiency and productivity. In addition to the comprehensive product functionality, Epicor has a strong presence in Egypt. This project clearly underlines our ability to deliver next-generation technology solutions that satisfy the diverse requirements of organizations from different industries across the Middle East."
