Ellucian to host educators in Abu Dhabi The Ellucian Live conference extends beyond the company's client base to the vocational and higher education sectors at large, says Boice.

Education software specialist Ellucian will open its eleventh annual conference for the Middle East in Abu Dhabi tomorrow.

The Ellucian Live event is expected to bring together over 500 higher and vocational educators, government personnel and industry specialists, from 25 countries, for the two-day conference. The event will focus on how technology can be used to increase collaboration and drive the region's education agenda.

The conference will be opened by Fatema Akbar, a Carnegie Mellon University Qatar student, will present a keynote on technology and collaboration in learning communities. Ellucian president and CEO will discuss the company's new Ellucian Extensible Ecosystem (XE) architecture and integrated mobile solutions.
