Banking analytics specialist iCreate Software has announced the readiness of a pre-built Basel solution, called Biz$core DRisk that caters to Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) reporting requirements under the Basel guidelines to help reduce complexity and non-compliance risk for banks.

The announcement comes as CBE introduces new regulations, guidelines and reporting systems to enable banks to meet core components of the Basel II capital adequacy framework.

Designed to provide an integrated risk and compliance management solution, Biz$core DRisk helps Egyptian banks address the Basel requirements as a strategic priority.

"With a pre-built Basel data mart, in-built data models, pre-packaged content and integrated ETL infrastructure, Biz$core DRisk is a quick-to-implement Basel solution," said iCreate.

"Drill-down capabilities allow risk authorities to easily navigate through the overall calculations to understand each step visually."

According to iCreate, pre-packaged worksheets provide exposure and CRM/RWA-related details for different Basel asset classes in a single location, thus enabling quicker analyses. Calculations are performed at the most granular level thus allowing for a complete audit trail. Biz$core DRisk also features pre-built regulatory reports compliant with CBE guidelines. An easily configurable object framework lays the foundation for on-going changes in Basel II, as well as for upcoming Basel III related requirements.

"With an intuitive user interface and easy to use controls, Biz$core DRisk is built on a J2EE platform making it scalable, robust, secure and cost effective," said iCreate.
