Dubai-based IT solutions provider, Meta Byte Technologies, has inked a deal to license Mi-Token's Two Factor Authentication engine that significantly lowers the cost of verifying remote network users in the region.

Mi-Token is a provider of Web 2.0 authentication solutions that deliver ultra-secure authentication at software as a service (Saas) price levels.

Salil Dighe, managing director at Meta Byte Technologies said: "We are excited to work with this new way of helping companies protect themselves from weak and static password attacks which are very common in the region. After researching the sector over the last six months, we selected Mi-Token because its architecture allows us to easily integrate with existing infrastructure on client sites whether those sites have 50 or 500,000 users. Mi-Token's Two Factor Authentication egine has been designed to be a much easier to manage and roll out validation solution and does not require proprietary console servers or hard tokens to be installed and managed."

John Nolan, senior VP, Sales and Marketing at Mi-Token added: "Mi-Token provides the ‘best' user and administrator experience by simplifying and making authentication transparent and easy for use. The tight integration with Active Directory allows this ultra-secure solution to be deployed in minutes and managed easily by non-specialist IT staff," said.
