Dubai-based security products distributor Comguard announced today that it is conducting a series of training and certification courses for both partners and end-users on Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows platform.

Comguard is a Kaspersky authorised MENA training partner and one of the few in the region to have certified security instructors in-house to offer training on Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows

Kaspersky considers Endpoint Security 8 for Windows the cornerstone of its solutions, as it enables centralised security monitoring of Windows-based workstations and servers, covering protection from malware, potentially dangerous programs and network attacks.

The training will be offered in two capsules, "Getting Started", for those with no previous knowledge of Kaspersky products and "Advanced". Both courses cater for network administrators and security specialists.

The courses will be run in Dubai, but remain open to channel partners and end-users from any part of the GCC.

Mohammad Mobasseri, senior vice president at Comguard, said, "We are glad to be one of the first authorised training partners for Kaspersky Lab in the region to offer training on Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows. All the successful participants at the end of training will gain a certification from Kaspersky Lab."
