Comguard, a Dubai-based value-added distributor (VAD) for IT security products in the MENA region, has acquired distribution rights for EnGenius, a Taiwan-based vendor of wireless and voice communication solutions.

Under the deal, Comguard will distribute the entire range of EnGenius wireless and voice communication solutions across the GCC region.

Ajay Singh Chauhan, CEO at Comguard, said: "Wireless is the future of technology and we wish to play an important role in this segment. With our partnership with the EnGenius, we intend to provide high quality products and services to our partners and end-customers in the region. In association with EnGenius, we plan to take several initiatives to lend continuous technical and marketing support to facilitate the growth of business for all our channel partners."

According to Comguard, it plans to run special awareness campaigns to highlight the wireless range. This, says the distributor, will help it to build a strong loyal channel partner network across the region.

In addition, the distributor will provide pre-sales and technical training to its channel partners on a regular basis to ensure that its channel partners stay abreast with new technologies and solutions.

Hossam Bebwy, regional sales manager at EnGenius Technologies, said: "We are glad to partner with Comguard, a VAD in the Middle East region. We are sure that with years of experience, technical expertise and a region wide channel base, Comguard will help us to further enhance our market share in the region."
