Simmtronics Semiconductors, a manufacturer of affordable Android tablets, has announced the introduction of its dual-core Android tablets under its brand new SIMM XD series. The company dubs them, “one of the most sensational tablets in the global market”.

Simmtronics XPAD Tablets feature 8GB of internal storage, HD touchscreen capacitive displays and Android 4.1. The products are targetted at consumers who seek reasonably priced products without any compromise in quality and functionality.

“Simmtronics has augmented its capacity to manufacture over 400k tablets per month  with scale up capabilities to manufacture half a million tablets a month,” says Indrajit Sabharwal, managing director, Simmtronics Semiconductors Ltd. “These tablets are built to the highest standards of quality and reliability and offer features and capacity at an affordable price and best quality.”

The new models come in a variety of screen sizes, from seven to 10.1 inches in size. They run on a 1.5 GHz Arm Cortex A9 processor and come with a variety of features, including Wi-Fi, cameras, USB ports and MicroSD slots.
