Huawei Enterprise has a busy week planned at the show. Every day, Huawei experts will hold a series of short break-out sessions at the main Huawei Stand, which is located within the GULFCOMMS area. These presentations will explore the findings of the latest technology and business trends research commissioned by Huawei.

Reflecting a shift in the business environment and a growing interest in the cloud’s potential to save resources and costs, GITEX for Huawei this year will hold a particular focus on cloud applications and the different applications of cloud computing in a variety of industry scenarios. This focus includes some of Huawei’s newest solutions, which have been developed to provide enterprises with all of the components that make up a data centre that can run and process at a reduced cost, providing customers with long-term savings. Huawei will also be introducing its latest HVS high-end storage subsystem which uses a Smart Matrix Architecture, and is equipped with XVE, a virtualized storage operating system, dedicated to high-end storage solution.

“We have successfully completed a number of important milestone projects in the Middle East this year, and GITEX gives us a forum to share best practices with customers who are facing comparable business challenges,” said Dong Wu, vice president, Huawei Enterprise Middle East. “Our increasing presence at GITEX is an accurate marker of our growth in the region year on year. The event provides a useful forum for demonstrating the look and feel of our latest products and solutions in action.

“It also allows us to cement relationships with partners and customers. We will be holding a series of channel partner meetings at Huawei’s exclusive Partner Salon in Hall 3, as a timely follow-up to the regional summit we held earlier this year.”
