Oracle partner TECLIB, specialist in free technology and open-source industrialisation, will introduce its software and services offerings at GITEX 2012.

The company will present IT Management, which can be used to manage IT infrastructure using freeware. It will also show it desktop virtualisation solutions.

The Virtual Desktop solution uses a cloud environment to allow user connection to desktops using Linux, Windows or Mac computers using Oracle Virtual Desktop Client; an ultra-light OracleSunRay Client; or an iPad through the OVDC application for iPad.

The solution also features reinforced security via strong authentication using a smartcard system and substantial mobility, as virtual desktops may be accessed from anywhere in the world.

IT Management is TECLIB's second key offering. Made up of the Helpdesk solution, the GLPI IT Resources Manager and the Fusioninventory inventory management software, it will manage an entire IT infrastructure, boosted by the Centreon supervision solution.

It is a freeware, multiplatform solution (Windows, Mac, Unix, Linux), fully publisher- and manufacturer-independent.
