HP yesterday announced its expanded notebook portfolio with thin and light Ultrabook systems and Sleekbooks featuring technologies for both consumer and business demands.

New additions to the range include the HP SpectreXT Ultrabook; the HP ENVY Sleekbooks and HP ENVY Ultrabooks for entertainment, in 14-inch and 15.6-inch display options; and the enterprise-ready HP EliteBook Folio 9470m complete with security, manageability and reliability features.

The new machines join the recently introduced HP Folio13 and HP ENVY14 Spectre.

The ENVY and SpectreXT notebooks also include Beats Audio, developed by HP and Beats by Dr Dre, while HP CoolSense is designed to automatically adjust performance and internal fan settings for temperature control. HP Imagepad provides multi-finger touch-and-gesture navigation, and the TrueVision HD Webcam produces (HD) images. Optional backlit keyboards are available for computing in low-light conditions.
