Emax forecasts 40% sales increase at GITEX Shopper Power retailer Emax expects a 40% jump in sales at this year's GITEX Shopper.

Power retailer Emax, a subsidiary part of Landmark Group, has revealed that it expects sales to increase by almost 40% at the 2012 GITEX Shopper.

Emax says it wants to use the consumer electronics fair, which runs from 29th September to 6th October 2012, to showcase its consumer electronics range that includes mobiles, computers, photography kit, sound and vision, and relevant accessories.

Neelesh Bhatnagar, Emax CEO said: "Our presence at GITEX Shopper this year is bigger than ever before and we are geared to offer our consumers an exhilarating shopping experience. We know that people from all walks of life wait for this event with great anticipation and we are excited to welcome them at our stand and to delight them with our rich offerings."

Bhatnagar that: "According to a Dubai Chamber study, UAE sales of consumer electronics are predicted to rise from $3.14 billion in 2011 to $3.97 billion by 2015 and we expect this year's GITEX Shopper to validate this growth story."

The retailer says it has increased its stand space this year by almost 70%, making it one of the biggest exhibitors at GITEX Shopper 2012.

Emax will be located in the SS1 Hall of The Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
