It's back and bigger than ever. GITEX Shopper 2012 opens its doors on 29 September at Dubai World Trade Centre for an eight-day consumer blitz involving over 100 companies from seven participating countries: Egypt, Oman, Malaysia, Netherlands, Singapore, United Kingdom and UAE.

Around 170,000 visitors are expected to tread the 30,000 square-metre exhibition space as they hunt for bargains, browse new technologies and examine the latest gadgets on offer at vendor stands.

Both public and trade visitors are welcome and entry costs AED 30 per person, per entry. Students will be charged AED 10 for groups numbering a minimum of 50 students. Children under the age of five are admitted free of charge but should be accompanied by an adult. Tickets can be bought in advance through Time Out Tickets (www.timeouttickets.com), Ticketingco, Select EPPCO and ENOC outlets (over 60 outlets) and onsite.
