Du's caller tunes has become even better with the launch of UAE's first ‘Song Search' enhancement.

The voice-based enhancement allows for more effective searching for caller tunes. Subscribers need to just say the name of the tune they are thinking of and the search will list similar sounding results to choose from.

"We endeavour to bring our customers the very best and latest services that make the little things they do even more convenient. With our caller tunes subscription being so popular, we were eager to introduce this unique search to facilitate easier content discovery. Song Search is revolutionary, and we are proud to be the first telecom in the UAE to offer this feature to our customers," said Farid Faraidooni, chief commercial officer, Du.

The song search feature can be accessed by Du's IVRS by calling 156 from any Du mobile phone. The user just has to follow instructions, say the name of the song or movie, and then Song Search narrows down the collection of caller tunes in its database to find likely results.

Selecting a song costs AED5 and if you are not a Caller Tunes subscriber, there is a subscription fee of AED5 too.
