JadoPado, a UAE-based online consumer store, today announced the availability of the much-awaited Apple iPhone 5.

The device is now available on www.jadopado.com in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB options with prices starting at AED 4,299.

"We are very excited to be amongst the first few online retailers to sell the iPhone 5 in the UAE. Our customers seem to be equally enthusiastic about the device; we've had a very quick uptake despite the premium pricing," said Omar Kassim, founder of JadoPado.

"Given the response we have received so far, we have now restocked the device and are trying to get the device across to our customers as quickly as possible," Omar added.

The Apple iPhone 5, which was available to consumers in the US, UK and Australia from Friday, went on sale on JadoPado on Saturday and sold out within the first hour. Even though the smartphone has received mixed reviews from the tech pundits, consumers across the UAE seem to be eager to get their hands on the handset.
