IT security powerhouse McAfee, is rolling out the McAfee Profitability Stack, a new programme aimed at improving channel partners' financial gains while working with the company.

Under the initiative, McAfee is introducing new financial benefits to partners such as the Accredited Certified Engineer (ACE) rebate and the incumbency advantage. In addition, the vendor says under the new initiative, it's also repositioning the McAfee Deal Registration Program that helps partners take advantage of being proactive in generating opportunities in the market.

Tambi Baik, country lead, Saudi Arabia at McAfee said: "We are also continuing the McAfee Rebate Program, which is one of the best rewarding rebate programmes in the market. All that is coupled with an improved enablement programme that will ensure partners' staff receive the same level of training that a McAfee employee would get."

Baik said channel enablement initiatives focus on the individual ensuring that a continuous certification record and transcript is in place for the partners' staff to use in pursuing their career in the security market.

Baik pointed out that McAfee has already rolled out the famous ACE programme that ensures partners technical team graduate from the course certified to conduct the most sophisticated proof of concept (POC) and manage a complete pre-sales cycle.

He explained that McAfee introduced its Deal Registration Program to reward proactive partners who work on creating genuine leads and opportunities in the market. "Channel enablement initiatives are part of McAfee's strategy to increase opportunities for channel partners to make more money selling our solutions in the region," he said.

Baik added that continous enablement and training is one condition any McAfee partner would have to abide by. He said McAfee runs quarterly advanced training to ensure partners are well versed on latest security threats and trends. "For example, one of the famous courses that McAfee runs is ‘Ultimate Hacking' that teaches trainees how hackers think, and most importantly what can be done to defend against advanced hacking techniques," he said.
