Dell brings XPS and Alienware to Gitex Pearce Clune, Marketing Director, Emerging Markets EMEA, Retail & Distribution, Dell.

Dell announced today that it intends giving Gitex Shopper visitors the chance to sample its Inspiron and XPS mobile PC line firsthand, including the XPS 13 Ultrabook. It will also establish the ‘Alienware Experience Zone' and invite gamers to try out its series of gaming desktops.

"At Gitex Shopper, we will be giving visitors the chance to view a range of products first hand including the latest mobile PC models from our expanded XPS line-up which have only just become available in the Middle East," said Pearce Clune, Marketing Director, Emerging Markets EMEA, Retail & Distribution, Dell.

"Additionally, we will also be displaying our recently expanded Inspiron laptop portfolio which meets the needs of students, multi-media fans, and families looking for reliability and performance at an affordable price point," he added.

In celebration of the new Alienware products' launch, Dell will host an event where gamers can compete against members of the Ukrainian multigaming e-sports organisation, Navi, while spectators can enjoy some of the world's best gamers in action. The competition will take place at Golden Hall, Karama, from 8pm-10pm between 30th September and 2nd October. For tournament registrations gamers can visit

Dell will also be present at the Gitex Technology Week exhibition where it will present its enterprise and cloud offerings. Dell's Chief Information Officer, Adriana Karaboutis, will give the opening keynote on October 16th, and Dave Brooke, General Manager for Dell Middle East, will speak at the "Consumerisation of IT" event.
