Oracle announced today that Saudi-based Al Jomaih Automotive, part of the Al Jomaih Group, and the largest dealer for GM cars in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, has selected Oracle Exalogic to integrate with its existing Oracle Exadata X2-2 and Oracle Business Intelligence tools as part of a phased plan to migrate to an Oracle suite.

Al Jomaih said the decision was vital in supporting a growing customer base.

"This new system from Oracle will enhance optimal performance as well as the ability to migrate to it, with faster operations and reports," said Nezar Shehabuddeen, senior Oracle application ERP Consultant with Al Jomaih Automotive Co. "The system is capable of supporting rush hour operations, high workshop loads, and sales month-end, enabling us to achieve higher sales and service goals. This is extremely beneficial for our company."

Abdul Rahman Al Thehaiban, vice-president, Oracle Middle East & Africa, said, "Oracle hardware and software products are engineered to work together to yield the best results for customers' IT investments. The Oracle Exadata Database Machine X2-2 and Exalogic R-12 that Al Jomaih has deployed offers an easy-to-use, out-of-the-box solution with vast benefits for companies' performance, scalability, and cost efficiency."
