A paltry fine of Dhs 30k is not going to deter such traders for the future. If the DED is really interested to curb counterfeiting then they need to take a more stronger stand - put the owner in jail for 3 months or increase the fine to Dhs 100k+.
Such actions have not reduced the amount of fakes being sold.
