Optimus and Bitdefender hail Channel Readiness Program a success
Optimus Technology and Telecommunications, a regional value-added distributor (VAD) and Bitdefender, recently held a ‘Channel Readiness' programme for its partners, which aimed at providing training and demonstrations on the vendor's range of security solutions.
Optimus says through the initiative, it was able to expand Bitdefender's channel base by bringing on board new channel partners, as well as training and empowering resellers to successfully become authorised Bitdefender partners in the region.
"Bitdefender's products, including their new virtual and cloud products, are unique and are ranked amongst the leading security solutions globally. We wanted to ensure that our channel partners fully understood the features and benefits of these solutions, which would help them sell better," said Nehul Goradia, VP - Channel and Alliances, Optimus Technology and Telecommunications.
"As a focused channel development and VAD partner for Bitdefender, we are continuously enhancing their reach by creating enabled enterprise partners through our channel enablement arm, Optimus Academy," Nehul said. "By holding the first Channel Readiness programme, we managed to train and get our partners ready to sell and implement Bitdefender's products and solutions. This initiative also helped us to recruit more partners and expand the company's channel reach in the region."
