Lenovo arms business users with M and Edge series Lenovo ThinkCentre M and Edge Series desktops and all-in-ones.

Lenovo has announced the ThinkCentre M and Edge series desktops and all-in-ones (AIOs), which will be part of its business line-up.

The series boasts third Generation Intel Core vPro processors for performance, and also features the latest in Lenovo's design innovation with intelligent cooling methods and productive multi-screen functionality.  

The ThinkCentre Edge 92z AIO features an ‘Infinity Glass' front panel with a 21.5-inch HD IPS LED display. Being the slimmest in the Lenovo commercial AIO line, it has a design which is 2.5 inches (65mm) thin. It also comes packed with Intel's latest Core vPro i7 processor and Intel's Intel® Small Business Advantage, which provides a set of tools for remote management of energy settings and PC updates. The Edge 92z also comes with an optional 10-point multi touch display.

The Edge 72 and 72z is aimed at SMB's looking for an affordable business PC, and Lenovo says it is ‘built for performance, productivity and convenience'. The Edge 72 includes support for two independent displays with standard VGA and DVI ports so users can work separately on two monitors. The ‘M' series features a clutter-free design with an optional wireless keyboard and mouse, resulting in a 65% smaller footprint compared to traditional desktops with 20-inch displays. The M72z's LCD panel is LED backlit and features an optional touch screen display. The machine also features integrated voice and video capabilities with an HD web camera and array microphone for unified communications.

Also in the M-line is the M72e which comes in a small form factor traditional tower. It can run on up to 16GB of RAM and comes with optional WiFi and Bluetooth.

The ThinkCentre M82, the last in the series, gives users the choice of Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processors and has most of the same features as the M72e. It also features a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) security chip and design that makes the PC easily serviceable.

Pricing and availability in the MEA for the new desktops and AIOs is as below:

The ThinkCentre M72e will be available in July 2012 starting at $599.
The ThinkCentre M82 will be available in June 2012 starting at $599.
The ThinkCentre M72z AIO will be available in August 2012 starting at $599.
The ThinkCentre Edge 92z will be available in July 2012 starting at $699.
The ThinkCentre Edge 72 will be available in July 2012 starting at $399.
The ThinkCentre Edge 72z will be available in July 2012 starting at $549.
