Symantec teams up with Juniper

Juniper Networks and security vendor Symantec have announced that they are to jointly develop integrated security solutions for enterprise customers.

The agreement includes a commitment to develop unified threat management solutions and intrusion protection systems.

The firm will also join forces to build standards-based, integrated access control and endpoint compliance solutions.

Juniper’s J-Security Team and Symantec’s Global Intelligence Network will collaborate on security and threat research and sales and marketing efforts. The marketing efforts will include Juniper marketing and selling Symantec security content as a component of its Integrated Security Solutions portfolio.
