Logicom unveils HP Workstations Performance Center The new HP Workstations Performance Center is part of Logicom's value offerings to partners and their end-users.

Regional distributor Logicom recently unveiled the first HP PSG Value Lab for channel partners in UAE.

The lab, which is also known as the HP Workstations Performance Center, is located at Logicom's Dubai office, is part of the distributor's value-add offering to the channel partners.

Logicom states that having opened this lab justifies the company's recent award in which it was recognised as the ‘HP Workstation Value added Distributor of the year 2011.

According to Logicom, resellers and their end users can now get their hands on a range of HP workstations and experience performance benchmarking and proof of concepts.

The lab is well equipped with the latest HP Z series workstations and multiple design software that includes AutoCAD and Adobe software suites.

Sajith Raj, regional distribution manager at Logicom Dubai said: "The lab allows partners to experience the simplicity of all-in-one design with the HP Z1 workstation. This is another step towards cementing Logicom's value-add offerings to channel partners and shall continue to enable them. We also encourage our partners to take advantage of the lab built for their end customers".

"HP selected its value-added distributor Logicom to host its latest HP Workstations Performance Center, Yan Bergeron, Commercial Solutions, business manager at HP.

Bergeron said because the centre is equipped with the latest Z series workstations and professional line of displays, resellers can now experience and benchmark the performance and stability of the bestselling workstations in the market.

"With more than 60% market share in the Middle East and a dedicated pre-sales and sales team, HP and Logicom aim to grow its workstation channel business by offering product demos, customisation services and value-added sales support to its customers." He said.
