GFI Software has announced that its GFI MailArchiver solution has won the coveted ‘Product of the Year' award at the Network Computing Awards in London, UK.

The software allows SMBs to manage email systems efficiently, by ‘managing increasing volumes of email and attachments; maintaining the performance of Microsoft Exchange servers; relying too heavily on PST files or tape backup to retrieve old or deleted emails; complying with the data retention requirements of government regulations; and ensuring that critical information contained in email is not lost and can be restored for business continuity purposes in the event of systems failures or natural disaster.'

John Spoor, channel sales manager, MEA said: "This award from Network Computing recognises our efforts to provide SMBs with the tools they need to keep email effectively archived, combined with powerful tools to help organisations extract customer value and internal data intelligence from unstructured email archives."

GFI Software sells its products and solutions across the MEA region including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan.
