Comguard honours MENA channel partners Mobasseri says Comguard is delighted to offer regional partners a platform to connect with their peers.

Comguard, a Dubai-based value-added distributor for IT security solutions in the MENA region, recently honoured the successes of its channel partners when it staged the first Channel Partner Conference in Dubai.

The event, held alongside a gala dinner, attracted over 200 channel partners from the MENA geography with Comguard honouring their hard work and business contribution over the past 12 months.

Fifteen awards were presented and they recognised the companies, IT projects and individuals that have done the most to build, grow and improve their business with Comguard in the Middle East marketplace.

The awards highlights included Ashish Modi of MHD Infotech, who won the 'Best Channel Sales Person of the Year 2011' award, Overseas Business Machines, which was awarded as the 'High Growth Partner 2011', and Wipro Limited which scooped the 'Emerging Partner of the Year' award.

Ajay Singh Chauhan, CEO at Comguard, said: "We are pleased to host our partners at this year's Partner Conference as it enabled us to share our vision and exchange ideas. Chauhan said Comguard and partners are working together towards exploring new opportunities, enhancing skill-sets, expanding the customer base and generating better margins.

Mohammad Mobasseri, senior vice president at Comguard added that: "We are glad to achieve our main goal of providing our partners a platform to connect with each other and explore opportunities to enhance their business potential in the region.
