Qtel and Cisco have announced a new strategic partnership, to deliver services to business and consumers in Qatar.

Under the memorandum of understanding, the two will collaborate on services including wireline, mobile, managed services, virtual networks and data centre solutions. The two will develop services specific to strategic industries, as well as to mega-projects and government.

Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Al Thani, CEO, Qtel Qatar, said: "Qtel has a bold strategy for ensuring that we hold a leadership position in the delivery of new innovations for our customers, and strategic partnerships have a clear role to play in ensuring we achieve our objectives.
