Aastra, a provider of enterprise communication solutions is offering an exclusive opportunity for Microsoft Lync 2010 customers to enjoy a superior experience with a trial of two of its IP phones.

Aastra's 6721ip and 6725ip desk phones have been optimised for Microsoft Lync users. The company says the two Aastra IP phones tightly integrate with Microsoft Lync and offer user-friendly access to its features, making them powerful unified communications (UC) devices.

Dr. Roger Hage, vice president at Aastra MEA said: "With this initiative dubbed ‘Give Your Lync a Voice', Lync customers will be able to enjoy during a risk-free 30-day trial the rich and integrated experience giving customers the power to get the most out of their Lync experience."

Hage added that: "As these phones operate independently from a PC, they are always ready to use and offer high quality audio. Now customers can have both the familiar look and feel of a high quality telephone set and the advanced productivity features like conferencing, presence, colour pictures, instant messaging and video. We simply want customers to take full advantage of the rich multimedia integration with phones which are designed to provide a superior customer experience".

This offer is only available in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Turkey until May 31, 2012. Offer includes one Aastra 6721ip and two advanced Aastra 6725ip stand-alone IP phones per trial.
