Informatica Qatar (iQ), the exclusive distributor and service provider for Huawei devices in Qatar, has opened a new service centre in Doha that will provide full after-sales service support for the vendor's offerings in that market.

The distributor has also added Ghasham Group to its retailer partner network for mobile devices in Qatar, as part of the on-going initiative to grow its retail business.

The Ghasham Group is currently one of the leading mobile phone retailers in Qatar and has more than 25 retail outlets spread across Doha. iQ wants to capitalise on Ghasham Group's key outlets in Souq Najada, Lulu Airport, Lulu Garrafa, the industrial area and Barwa Village.

"Our new service centre reflects our commitment to complementing the products we offer with high-quality after-sales support. Our exceptional attention to customer satisfaction drives us to constantly search for top-notch retail partners such as the Ghasham Group, which we are proud to welcome to our network," said Ramy Numair, commercial director, iQ.

Qatar is one of the region's most attractive mobile phone markets, with reports estimating mobile penetration rate at over 100% and predicting a rise to 201% by 2014 in the Gulf state.
