Qatar Telecom (Qtel) has won the contract to provide telecoms infrastructure for the new Doha airport.
The telecoms operator told Reuters that it has so far spent QR37m ($10.2m) on building out telecoms infrastructure for the new building.
The new airport, which is expected to open in December, will cost $11bn.
Qtel won the contract through a bidding process that included 15 companies.
