Western Digital has appointed Logicom as a distributor for the Middle East.

Under the deal, Logicom will distribute WD components in Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait, and the entire product portfolio in Lebanon and Jordan.

"Penetrating newer geographies and making our products available in smaller markets is one of our key focus areas in the Middle East in 2012. Logicom will help us enhance our channel pull and drive growth in the area. We are delighted to have Logicom as our distributor, and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship" said Khwaja Saifuddin, senior sales director, Western Digital Middle East & South Asia.
