MSI has announced its new range of X-Slim Series X370 laptop computers, which weigh in at as little as 1.4kg, and are 22.8mm thick.

The laptop range runs on AMD's new dual core E-450 processor, which draws just 18w of electricity, which, when combined with MSI's ECO Engine Power saving technology, with five different power modes, can provide up to ten hours of operational battery life.

The X370 range has the AMD Radeon HD 6320 discrete graphics processor, and a 13.4 inch HD LED backlit screen.

For connectivity, the laptop has HDMI and VGA input, with 802.11 b/g/n WLAN, Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR, 1x Gigabit LAN. The laptop also has SRS PC Sound, that expands the overall sound field whether from internal speakers, external speakers or earphones, for more realistic sound, and also comes with 1.3MP integral webcam.

The laptop also comes with MSI's i-Charger technology built in, which pumps more power through the USB slots, enabling users to recharge connected devices up to three times faster than with regular USB interfaces.

For software, the X370 range includes the MSI S-Bar toolbar, which consists of shortcuts for major OS programs, for hardware, and for MSI's own applications, such as MSI EasyViewer photo manager, and Easy Face facial recognition.

The laptop is available in 320GB, 500GB or 640GB HDD versions, and is finished with an MSI etched checkerboard design with MSI exclusive shimmering colour film print.
