This is unfortunate since the problem basically with iPhone is that it keeps limiting what it can provide to mobile users. In most cases, there's always a feature that could have been better except that they are delaying it for their next so-so release...as with the iPhone 1 then 2 then 3 then 4s...I would not bet my money on a company that keeps tricking the public about its so-called "new age features" but lacks the essential components of what is "in-the-now". I'd still unlock a blackberry anytime of the day.
This is an ill-conceived idea: Etisalat roaming rates are a joke, this will cost Halliburton dearly.
Interesting move from an IT stategy perspective. Looking at the Middle East region, I'm wondering how the company will manage their roaming charges for employees who travel frequently. This is where Blackberry has a huge advantage in MENA.
For people who travel out of the country, RIM international package has the edge over Iphone. Black berry internal package is just 275 pm. But Iphone roaming charges are toooo high for data. People who used Iphone data package out of country without knowledge ended up paying huge sum.
