Lenovo has launched its new IdeaPad U300s Ultrabook laptop in the region.

The ultrabook, which has been designed to be lightweight and stylish, without compromising on features, comes with a 13.3 inch 16:9 widescreen display, weighs 1.32kg and is just 14.9mm thick.

The notebook runs on a second generation Intel Core i7 processor with Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0, and with Enhanced Experience 2.0 RapidDrive SSD technology, it can boot in as little as 10 seconds, Lenovo says.

The Lenovo Long Life Battery provides up eight hours of usage, or 30 days standby, and with Lenovo RapidCharge, can be charged to 50% capacity in just 30 minutes.

The U300s also comes with 4GB DDR3 memory, up to 256GB of SSD storage, Bluetooth, high-speed 802.11n Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 connectors, an integrated 1.3M (720p HD) webcam, HDMI output and integrated stereo speakers with SRS Premium Surround Sound. The ultrabook also features a ‘Breathable Keyboard' an Intel Advanced Cooling Technology that allows air to flow in through the keyboard and out of the sides and rear hinge. This design removes the need for vents on the underside of the notebook.

The Ultrabook U300s is available in Graphite Gray or limited-edition Clementine Orange, with retail prices starting at $1,225.
