7. Democracy forces Egypt, Libya and Tunisa to spend heavily on IT:
One of the biggest challenges facing the countries that have begun making the transition from dictatorships to democracy is the huge data burden it puts on such governments. Expect to see major deals being made between these fledgling governments and the major vendors as they look to update and improve their existing IT infrastructures to cope with their changed situations.
