PlayStation Vita previewed in Dubai

PlayStation has previewed its Sony PlayStation Vita handheld gaming device at an event in Dubai, the device will go on sale in Q1 this year to customers in the UAE.

The PlayStation Vita features a 5-inch OLED multi-touch screen, weighs 260g for the Wi-Fi only version and has a front and rear camera. It is also the first gaming device to feature a rear multi touch pad controller.

Two versions of the PlayStation Vita will be available in the UAE, the Wi-Fi only model, which will retail at AED1149, and the Wi-Fi and 3G model, which will retail at AED1499. PlayStation will be announcing its partnerships with local telecom service providers for the 3G option shortly, according to the company.

PlayStation Vita gaming titles will range in price from AED129 to AED199 and memory cards will cost between AED99 and AED349.
